What do we offer?
From our office in Haryana, India, we procure all the different kinds of rice and lentils that India has to offer.
We work closely with local farmers and mills to offer the best possible prices. We have educated people on the ground, that regularly visit our trading partners, to ensure the correct quality for our clients. Some clients are looking only for the highest quality, and others for a lower quality product at an excellent price. No matter if you are looking for Ambemohar, Basmati, 1121 Sella, or another variety – we got it.
We like to see ourselves as a sourcing partner more than a trading company. We work for our clients to get the best possible prices in the market.
About Indian rice
India has around 6,000 different varieties of rice. Sprout Monk has made an excellent write-up of the 50 most popular.
The most well-known Indian strain of rice is Basmati. Basmati rice comes in a lot of different varieties, and qualities. It is known for its fragrant, warm and nutty flavor, and is a best-seller in Europe.
The quality is often determined by the length of the grain. The longest variety is the 1121 Sella Basmati, with an average pre-cooked length of 8.35 mm, which we like to use for premium dishes as Biryani.
